Ola electric scooters sale is on: Here’s how you can buy it

Ola's e-scooters will be available for purchase starting today. On August 15 on account of India's 75th Independence Day, the e-scooter was revealed.

Pre-registration for the scooters started in July, and the company claims to have received over 100,000 registrations. If Ola's electric scooter has caught your attention, you've come to the right website as we analyze everything it has to offer and how to get it.


Specifications and Price

The scooters are available in two models: Ola Scooter S1 and S1 Pro. The S1 model will set you back ₹99,999, while the S1 Pro will set you back ₹129,999. 


These prices are ex-showroom level that includes the Centre's FAME II subsidies but does not include any state government subsidies. If you live in a state that offers electric car incentives, the automobiles may be less expensive.

The Ola Scooter S1 model is said to be capable of reaching speeds of up to 90 kilometers per hour, while the S1 Pro is capable of reaching speeds of up to 115 kilometers per hour. 


The S1 is reported to have a range of 121 kilometers on a full charge of 4 hours and 48 minutes. On a single charge, the Ola Scooter S1 Pro should be able to go up to 181 kilometers.


Additional features

Both scooters come with a 7-inch touchscreen, various connection choices, anti-theft warning, built-in speakers, and other features. Cruise control and a voice assistant are reported to be included in the S1 Pro.


The S1 will come in five different color options, while the S1 Pro will come in ten different color options. These scooters will be fitted with a 750W charger, and the firm has said that charging stations would be built in around 400 cities throughout the nation.


Ola scooters will not be available for purchase at a shop or outlet. All purchases and reservations are completed entirely online. If you want to get your hands on an Ola scooter, follow the procedures outlined below to buy the model you choose.


 How to Buy Ola Scooter S1 and S1 Pro.

  • Go to the Ola website and choose the option to "Reserve for ₹499."
  • Following that, you'll be sent to a custom selection screen where you may choose between S1 and S1 Pro.
  • You may also choose a color scheme for the model you wish to buy.
  • When you're finished, click the ‘Reserve for 499' button.
  • You will now be taken to a website where you may register your mobile phone number. Please provide your mobile phone number.
  • An OTP will be sent to you. You will be routed to the custom selection page after entering the OTP.
  • To finish the payment, choose the model and color once again, then click on the ‘Reserve for 499' button.
  • you may pay ₹499 Using a debit or credit card, online banking, or UPI.
  • You will have finished the pre-booking procedure once this is done.


After then, you must keep checking the waiting list to see how far along your order is. When the sale becomes live, you'll be able to finish the transaction by paying the remaining balance.


In October, Ola will begin delivering scooters to customers' homes. The scooter is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the sooner you book, the sooner you will be able to get it.


Financing

Ola has partnered with a number of institutions to provide loans and EMI alternatives to its customers. You can get EMIs through Ola Financial Services beginning at ₹2,999 per month for the S1 and ₹3,199 per month for the S1 Pro.


If you don't need financing, you may pay a deposit of 20,000 to 25,000 rupees, depending on the model. After getting the scooter's invoice, you may pay the remaining balance.

When will the remaining money be collected?


The buyer will be informed through the Ola app, email, or cell phone. They will be asked to pay the remaining amount prior to the Ola Scooter being sent from the Ola Futurefactory after they have been informed.


Insurance

If you want to finance, you must buy insurance via Ola as it is included in the on-road pricing.

Your vehicle's registration requires insurance. You may also get insurance from a third party. When the registration procedure begins, you will need to submit the insurance policy to the Ola app (before delivery).
